Every mirror I create begins with a conversation — and becomes something entirely your own.

I’m Frank — born in Germany, trained as a scientist, and later working as a negotiation trainer. But over time, I felt the need to create something with my hands. Now based in Turkey, I design and build each mirror myself, using hand-selected travertine tiles sourced locally. What began as a creative outlet has become a way to connect with people around the world — one handcrafted piece at a time.

What makes this mirror truly special isn’t just the natural stone or the intricate layout — it’s the opportunity for collaboration.

📏 Weight & Hanging
Each mirror weighs approx. 5–10 kg, depending on size. Comes with integrated hardware — ready to hang vertically or horizontally right out of the box.

🧼 Care & Maintenance
Wipe clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid chemical cleaners to preserve the natural stone’s texture and finish.

📜 A Material with a Story
Travertine has a rich heritage in Turkish design, often seen in ancient bathhouses and mosques. Each tile carries that legacy into your home with timeless character.

💬 How the Process Works
Once you place your order, I’ll prepare more tiles than needed and share three layout options for you to choose from. You’ll then select your preferred design and frame — and only after your approval will I begin final assembly.

We can communicate through Etsy, but since photo sharing is limited, WhatsApp or email are often more effective (just let me know your preference). I want this to feel like a shared creative journey — and I’ll be with you every step of the way.

Each mirror is packed in a custom wooden crate to protect it in transit.
Shipping is handled via FedEx or UPS Express and usually takes just 2–3 business days worldwide from Istanbul.

Each tray features coordinated travertine tiles, either matching those used in your mirror or chosen according to your personal taste after discussing options with me. The wooden frame includes matching laser engravings, and all tiles are backed with natural cork — allowing them to be removed and used as coasters. On request, the backs of these cork tiles can also be laser engraved with a name, date, message, or symbol of your choice.

You’re welcome to personalize the tray further — with engravings on the wood frame as well, making it a one-of-a-kind piece that reflects your story.
